How has the hospital genre been subverted to have a comic effect, with particular reference to "Scrubs"?
I chose to base my question around Scrubs as it is a show I enjoy and also there is alot to talk about, particularly to do with the genre. I can explore how the genre has been subverted in recent times to have a comic effect. Shows such as Scrubs, Green Wing and Grey's Anatomy are all based in hospitals but differ from what the hospital genre tends to be which is usually depressing.

Finally you've done some work on this! So far, so good. You should think about:
refining your thesis - why do you think the genre has been subverted?
ideology and values - this is the key concept that gets you the high grades. Think!
a hybrid of comedy with sitcom?? Sitcom is a type of comedy . . .
